Halestorm have been hard at work on their follow-up to 2012’s The Strange Case Of, and frontwoman Lzzy Hale recently shared that there’s light at the end of the recording tunnel.
In an interview with Full Metal Jackie, Lzzy says that the band are almost finished recording the new album adding they “have a lot of great songs” and that “It’s going to be a very difficult narrowing down process.”
Oh, what a burden it must be to have too many great new songs to want to share with the world.
Lzzy also gave some interesting insight on what the recording process is like for her, stating “There’s always a spot, any time we make a new record, where I literally go back to Judas Priest and Motorhead because you have to. You have to go back and understand where this all started for you and keep reminding yourself of that.”
As someone who’s a fan of Priest and Motorhead (and Halestorm), a quote like that only increases my excitement for Halestorm’s new album.
