Lee Looking To Add Fan Seat To Cruecifly

NEW YORK - MARCH 3: Drummer Tommy Lee of Motley Crue performs live at Madison Square Garden on March 3, 2005 in New York City.
By now, you’ve all heard about the “Cruecifly,” the steroid-using cousin of Tommy Lee’s original spinning drum rig first introduced on Motley Crue’s “Girls, Girls, Girls World Tour.”

In case you haven’t, here it is in action.

Apparently, Tommy doesn’t want to perform his drum solo…solo; he wants to bring a fan with him for the ride!

In a recent interview with ABC News Radio, Tommy says he wants to add an extra seat and pick a fan from the crowd at upcoming shows and have them up in the air rocking out with him!  Of course, Tommy does mention that adding a fan to the “Cruecifly” is a major insurance issue (you think?), but the band is “working on it” to make this idea a reality.

While this idea sounds absolutely insane, if this is something Motley Crue are aiming to accomplish, you gotta give them credit for trying to pull out all the stops.  If this is, in fact, “The Final Tour,” I say go for broke!
