Korn is reaching out to fans to help make a video for its new single, "Hater."
The group has posted a note on its web site asking fans to submit videos "about a time you were the victim of bullying, abuse, or hated and how it affected you. We will use these videos for an upcoming video release!" Korn has also posted a list of questions to help fans make their videos as well as guidelines for posting and asked for them to be sent to [email protected].
"Hater" is featured on "The Paradigm Shift: World Tour Edition," which came out in July, and was created earlier this year by frontman Jonathan Davis:
"I did it here at home in Bakersfield (California), at Buck Owens', the studio we have, I call it Buck's Place, with (producer) Don Gilmore. He came in and me and him got in there and just knocked the shit out. When we got done I sent it to Munky and Head and they did their guitar stuff, and Fieldy played the bass track and Ray played the drums and it was done, and it's really good."
Korn's posting did not indicate when the "Hater" video will be released. Korn raps up its run on the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival tour on August 10 and has festival dates in Hungary, Russia and Louisville currently on its itinerary.
