Buckcherry Streaming “I Love It” Cover From New EP

NEW YORK, NY - AUGUST 11: Singer Josh Todd of the band Buckcherry performs at the Music Hall of Williamsburg on August 11, 2011 in New York City.
has rolled out the only cover on its new five-song "F#CK" EP -- a version of Swedish pop group Icona Pop's "I Love It" retooled as "Say F#ck It."

Frontman Josh Todd tells us it's one of his favorite moments on the profanely-themed collection:

"I take my kids to school and I listen to the radio, and I love pop music and I would hear this song and I was like, 'Man, this song's great!'...I love kind of challenging ourselves and taking a song that's not something people would think we'd cover and making it our own. So that was the whole plan behind 'Say F#ck It'...I tweaked a couple lines in it so it would meet the format of what we're doing, and because of that it became a real problem as far as getting the song cleared...If you tweak any of the lyrics or anything, you have to go to the songwriters and get it signed off so they approve it. If you just do it as is you can just do it. So that took a little while and finally they signed off on it, and I'm so glad they did. I love it. It fits into the whole, the whole piece of the puzzle on the EP."

As "F#CK's" title suggests, all five songs are built around the F-word. The EP comes out August 19, while Buckcherry is currently on the road and will be playing 19 dates on the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Tour starting August 19.
