Buckcherry has unveiled its NSFW video for "Say F#ck It," its adaptation of Swedish pop duo Icona Pop's "I Love It" that appears on the group's new "F#ck" EP.
The clip features the five Buckcherry members, including bare-chested frontman Josh Todd, performing the song in a rehearsal facility. Todd previously told us that he was inspired to cover (and alter) the song after hearing it repeatedly on the radio while driving his children to school; he adds that it did, however, take some time to get the necessary approvals from songwriters Patrik Berger, Linus Eklow and Charlotte Aitchison (aka Charli XCX):
"We found out that that song wasn't written by those two girls. It was written by three different songwriters; they had all collaborated on it. It was getting all three of them to sign off on it. It was quite a project...So it took a little while and finally they signed off on it, and I'm so glad they did. I love it. It fits into the whole, the whole piece of the puzzle on the EP."
The "F#ck" EP came out Tuesday (August 19) and is the first release on Buckcherry's own F Bomb Records label. Buckcherry is currently on the road, mixing dates on the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival with its own headlining shows and festival appearances through mid-October.
