Linkin Park Gifting Fans With Free Acoustic Download

NASHVILLE, TN - JANUARY 17: Mike Shinoda, Chester Bennington, and Brad Delson of Linkin Park at Bridgestone Arena on January 17, 2015 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Linkin Park
hit a major bump in the road recently with the cancellation of a number of tour dates, due to Chester Bennington’s foot injury and subsequent surgery.  But as a “thank you” to their fans, they’ve offered up some free music!

The band posted a link to their official website to a free download of an unreleased acoustic version of “Final Masquerade” from their latest album The Hunting Party.  Along with the link was a statement from Brad Deslon that read,In this stripped-down intimate version, the words and storytelling lead the way. I loved working on this special recording of "Final Masquerade", and we're excited to share it with our fans."

Linkin Park will be playing a number of festival dates in the near future, including the inaugural Rock In Rio USA festival in Las Vegas on May 9th, which is perfect timing since Bennington will be out on the road fronting Stone Temple Pilots for most of April.  For a full list of Linkin Park shows, check out their “events” page at LinkinPark.com.
