...And Now There's A KISS Twitter War

The war of Twitter words in the KISS camp over Gene Simmons' comments about Prince's death is not letting up.

Now Simmons' wife Shannon Tweed has entered the fray, taking out frontman Paul Stanley for his own Twitter apology about Simmons' remarks to Newsweek about Prince's death being "pathetic."

Embarrassed by cold clueless statements re Prince's death. Without all the facts better to say nothing. My apologieshttp://www.newsweek.com/gene-simmons-reflects-bowie-prince-deaths-457851 ...

Tweed wrote: "We ALL have our failings but true friends don't point at them & throw you under the bus! Especially partners of 40 years!" Stanley immediately fired back: "Partners of 40 years says it all. Don't confuse walking under the bus with being thrown under. My apology was right."

We'll see if that ends the matter.

Meanwhile, Simmons, Stanley et all have time to, er, Kiss and make-up before the group's summer Freedom Tour kicks off July 7 in Boise, Idaho.
