Getting Nitty Gritty With Jeff Hanna On "All Mixed Up"

The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band are simply an American musical institution.

Starting out as a jug band in Southern California in the mid-1960's one of their earliest members was a very young Jackson Browne.  Considered by some to be among the founders of country rock, paving the way for the likes of Poco and the Eagles, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band celebrated 50 years with a performance at Nashville's legendary Ryman Auditorium.

Jeff called into "All Mixed Up" to chat with Jim Monaghan about the Dirt Band's legacy, playing musical chairs onstage, and more.
