…or sweater? Because they’re both up for auction this Saturday (November 7th), and frankly, who really wants to deal with Black Friday crowds this holiday season?
Julien’s Auctions will be hosting their Icons and Idols: Rock N’ Roll Auction, and among their hundreds of lots heading up for bid, the two items garnering a lot of attention are a lock of Kurt Cobain’s hair and the mohair cardigan sweater the late singer famously wore during the Nirvana episode of MTV Unplugged.
The estimated going price for these items? Between $8,000-$10,000 for the lock of hair and between $40,000-$60,000 for the sweater.
As previously stated, there will be a bunch of interesting rock items up for grabs, so if Cobain’s hair and sweater are a little too steep for your budget, you can check out all of the listings at JulienAuctions.com.
