Man Gets Ear Bit Off At Eagles Of Death Metal Show

This story is definitely not for the squeamish, so you’ve been warned.

At a recent Eagles of Death Metal show in Toronto, a fight broke out between two concert goers, which led to one of them getting his ear bit off.  No…not like a chunk of ear; THE WHOLE EAR!  (For those that can handle the NSFW-ness of it all, click here to see a photo of the ear on the ground.)

Aux.TV has a round-up of quotes from those in attendance at the event, and apparently, most of the crowd was rather wild that night, but the kicker in all of this is that a customer picked up the ear, put it on ice and turned it in to a worker at the venue.

New Bon Scott Statue A Big Hit

When talks began to erect a statue honoring late AC/DC frontman Bon Scott in his hometown of Kirriemuir, Scotland, people were worried about putting it too close to another tribute to fellow hometown resident JM Barrie, who was fittingly honored with a statue of Peter Pan.  Only two weeks since the unveiling, and the Bon statue has eclipsed Pan in visitors and positive feedback.

Per local news outlet The Courier, the Bon statue has broken visitor records and has attracted fans from all over Europe and, of course, Australia.
