Green Day, Slipknot and Steel Panther make up the September 30th installment of “In Other Rock News…” Enjoy!
Green Day Are Not Fans Of Donald Trump
Well…there’s a shocker!
Billie Joe Armstrong got political during Green Day’s show at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, N.J. and went off on the current presidential election, particularly Donald Trump and changed the “Pulverize the Eiffel Tower” lyric in “Holiday” to “Pulverize the Trump Towers.”
Yikes! (Warning: NSFW language ahead.)

New Music From Steel Panther!
In less-political rock news: Steel Panther is releasing their fourth studio album on February 24, 2017 called Lower The Bar. The first single off the album features Cheap Trick’s Robin Zander and is called “She’s Tight,” because of course it is. The album’s other track titles haven’t been released yet, but we’re sure they’ll be super clean and wholesome.

Slipknot’s Most Surprising Fan
Most of us know Margot Robbie from her breakout role in The Wolf Of Wall Street and for her recent turn as Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad, but who knew she had a metalhead past?
The actress was on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night (September 29th) where she briefly touched on her metal phase, including how Slipknot was the best concert she’s ever been to. Also, apparently the other Maggots in attendance were big fans of the Australian soap opera she was on at the time. Either way, it’s a good story.
Margot Robbie talks about getting recognized at Slipknot concerts when she went through a deep heavy metal phase and managing her nerves going into hosting Saturday Night Live.
