Iron Maiden is planning what might be the loudest comic book in the world this summer.

The book is set to arrive this summer via Heavy Metal magazine and will adapt themes from the group's "The Legacy Of The Beast" mobile game in which fans battle a variety of foes, including 20 incarnations of Maiden's skeletal mascot Eddie.

In the book, according to a statement, "Eddie's immortal soul is shattered and strewn across the cosmos. Now, Eddie must journey across space and time to battle the twisted legions of the Beast, seek out the lost shards of his soul and bring order to the realms."

The comic was written by Llexi Leon and Ian Edginton, with art by Kevin J. West.

Maiden is in the midst of a U.S. tour that runs through July 22.
