WATCH: Corey Taylor’s Tattoo Tribute to Paul Gray

Getting memorial tattoos is always an emotional process, and if you ever wanted proof, this 2011 clip from TLC’s N.Y. Ink brings all the proof you’ll ever need.

Corey Taylor appeared on the show to get a tattoo in tribute to Slipknot bassist Paul Gray, who passed away in 2010.  Taylor’s got the tattoo just before the one year anniversary of Gray’s death, and the physical and emotional pain he goes through getting the tattoo is equal parts gutting and beautiful.

We’d like to meet the people who are able to watch this clip and not get joked up.  You’d have to be a robot not to well up just a little bit.
