Of course, this got us thinking: What other pairings would we like to see? Here’s four that we came up with.
Avenged Sevenfold and Chris Jericho
A7X is already good friends with the “Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla,” and both parties have collaborated multiple time is various capacities over the years. Their chemistry would be great!
Slipknot and Margot Robbie
On the surface, this makes no sense, but apparently, Robbie was a massive metalhead growing up and said on The Tonight Show that Slipknot is still the best concert she’s ever seen. Of course, we’re not quite sure if all of Slipknot would be able to fit into a car with Robbie, but they could figure that out somehow.
Judas Priest and Jim Breuer
Alright…so here’s another pairing that has collaborated in the past, but we still want to see an extended video of Halford and Co. singing with Breuer.
Anthrax and Meat Loaf
Two completely different musical stylings, but since Scott Ian is married to Pearl Aday (Meat Loaf’s daughter), we’d love to see this family pseudo-jam session happen.
Erica Banas is a rock/classic rock blogger. The first man she ever loved was Jack Daniel. (True story.)
