WATCH: Corey Taylor’s Guest Spot in Rob Scallon’s Slipknot Banjo Cover Clip

Corey Taylor took time out from touring with Stone Sour and promoting his new book to be part of a Slipknot song in an unexpected venue.

Musician Rob Scallon has released a new video for his banjo-driven, bluegrass-styled cover of Slipknot's "Psychosocial," which is starting to go viral in metal circles. The clip features Scallon and a quartet, all sporting Slipknot-style masks, playing the song outside and inside a barn; Taylor shows up towards the end of the video, sans mask and asking Scallon, who switched to an electric guitar, "What the f*** was that?...Well, it wasn't good I can f***in' tell you that" and also criticizes Scallon's eight-string guitar. The clip also includes bloopers from the session.

Taylor recently published a new book, America 51: A Probe into the Realities That are Hiding Inside 'The Greatest Country in the World,’ and is in the midst of an extensive tour with Stone Sour to promote its new Hydrograd album, including a spot on Slipknot's Knotfest festivals in Mexico and California.
