The group has promised there will be some sort of memorial in Los Angeles for frontman Chester Bennington, who committed suicide on July 20; Now frontman Mike Shinoda has posted a social media message promising word about something from the band this week.
Shinoda writes that, "I'm on a bit of a social media diet. Watching not talking. Stay tuned for some announcements this week."
No other details have been revealed or even hinted at yet.
...Meanwhile, as part of National Suicide Prevention Week, Bennington's widow Talinda has posted video footage from before his death, showing the singer and his children at home, playing a game together.
In the message Talinda writes, "This is what depression looked like to us just 36 hours b4 his death. He loved us SO much & we loved him. #fuckdepression #MakeChesterProud...I'm showing this so that you know that depression doesn't have a face or a mood."
Bennington's oldest son, Draven, previously posted his own message pledging to help himself and others feeling depressed or suicidal.
