David Litt went from The Onion to the White House.

While it wasn’t exactly as simple as that may make it sound, his experiences led him to the positions of Special Assistant to the President and Senior Presidential Speechwriter during the Obama Administration.

Jim Monaghan and John Hodorovych spoke with David about his new book Thanks, Obama: My Hopey, Changey White House Years, a very interesting look at what goes on behind-the-scenes in the White House and what some of his own personal challenges were.
