Can’t be at the Metallica-hosted Band Together Bay Area benefit concert for victims of the recent wildfires on Thursday night (November 9)? You’ll be able to catch the group’s set, at least, when it’s live-streamed at 8:45 p.m. EST on Metallica’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.

The quartet is planning to play a 75-minute set following performances from the Dave Matthews Band, Dead & Company, Rancid, Raphael Saadiq and G-Easy. Performances will also be carried via the Band Together Bay Area and Tipping Point Community Twitter pages, which are beneficiaries of the event.

In a statement, Metallica said that, “We’re extremely saddened by the suffering that so many are feeling in the Bay Area, but are also inspired by the enormous outpouring of love and support from all around the country and want to jump in and help in the way we know how to — through music!”

There will be a variety of ways to contribute to the charities during the concert as well. Metallica is preparing for Friday’s (November 10) release of the Master Of Puppets deluxe box set and begins a new European leg of its WorldWired Tour on February 1 in Portugal.
