Let’s go for a walk, hobbits.
According to Variety, Warner Brothers and J.R.R. Tolkein are talking to Amazon Studios to make a series based on the ‘Lord of the Rings’ books.
While working toward a perspective series, it’s hard to know what direction it would go in. If it would be spin-offs of what was in the books, (because let’s face it, there’s a ton of material), or if it would be revisiting the same world that Peter Jackson has worked with.
It’s not finalized as of yet, so those headlines that it’s ALREADY HAPPENING are false, but CEO Jeff Bezos is personally involved in the negotiations, so that’s gotta be pretty legit.
So, pack your bags because it’s time to “Ramble On.”
