Pearl Jam is headed overseas next year after playing some North American shows this year and releasing its new live film and album “Let’s Play Two.”
The Seattle group kicks off a 14-date European swing on June 12 in Amsterdam, with shows through July 14 in Portugal. The itinerary includes two shows at the O2 Arena in London, Pearl Jam’s first shows in Rome since 1996 and its first-ever performances in Krakow, Poland and Padova, Italy.
Tickets have gone on pre-sale to the group’s Ten Club members and will be open to the general public starting December 8.
…Meanwhile, Pearl Jam has posted “Obey The Law Of The Heart,” which it recorded for the new film “Basmati Blues,” an independent film starring Brie Larson, Scott Bakula, Donald Sutherland and Tyne Daly about scientists who created genetically modified rice, has opened in Sweden but has no U.S. release date yet.
