Avenged Sevenfold Live at the Grammy Museum features the group's performance there earlier this fall, its five songs including the group's cover of the Rolling Stones' "As Tears Go By" along with band favorites "Hail To The King," "Roman Sky," "Exist" and "So Far Away."
In a statement A7X says the release is celebrating its first-ever Grammy Award nomination -- Best Rock Song for the title track from its latest album, The Stage -- and that "a portion of the proceeds...will benefit the educational initiatives of the Grammy Museum, which seek to inspire youth to the enduring qualities and cultural significance of music."
The GRAMMYs will be presented on January 28 in New York, while A7X begins a North American headlining tour on January 12 in Nashville, with Breaking Benjamin and Bullet For My Valentine opening.
