Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts is the largest greenfield festival in the world. It was started by Michael Eavis in 1970 when several hundred hippies paid just £1, and now attracts more than 175,000 people.

Radiohead fans received some great news this morning in the form of new tour dates for this summer.  

Up until now, the band had only announced festival show dates in South America, but now a run of summer dates has been unveiled for Chicago, New York City, Montreal, Toronto, Detroit, Columbus, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Boston and Philadelphia.

Ticket sale dates vary from February 23 and 24 depending on the show date.  Complete details can be found at Radiohead’s official website.
