After some not-so-subtle teases over the weekend, Metallica has unveiled the second North American leg of their Worldwired Tour.
What sets this second North American tour leg apart is how the band are returning to cities for the first time in decades, with the biggest absence being the September 8 show in Grand Forks, N.D. which will be Metallica's first show in the area in nearly 30 years. The second leg will also feature the likes of Jim Breuer providing some opening act delights with comedy and various giveaways at each gig.
However, one of the coolest new features on this tour is the "Wherever I May Roam Black Ticket" which will allow you floor access to any of the North American second leg shows for only $598. You better act fast, because only 250 Black Tickets will be available.
Presales for Fan Club members begin tomorrow (February 27th) at Metallica.com/metclub. Citi cardmembers may purchase tickets beginning at 11:00 AM local time tomorrow (February 27) and Spotify will have pre-sale tickets starting on Wednesday, February 28. For a complete list of other presales can be found at Metallica.com. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 2nd at 10:00 AM local time.
