For starters, they dropped “Can’t Deny Me,” their first new song since 2013. The protest track was released exclusively to their Ten Club fan club members on Saturday (March 10.) An official release, however, has yet to be announced. In the meantime, fans can enjoy the preview below.
In other Pearl Jam news: Guitarist Mike McCready has been tapped by the charity MusiCares to receive their Stevie Ray Vaughan Award for his work in helping those seeking treatment for addiction and substance abuse.
Per GRAMMY.com, McCready will receive the award at the MusiCares Concert For Recovery, which is taking place on May 10. So far, a number of big names have been booked for the show including Slash, Duff McKagan, Mike Ness, Chad Smith and Nancy Wilson.
