Today (March 29) is Perry Farrell’s birthday, and when it comes to the Jane’s Addiction frontman’s legacy, one of the things he’ll be remembered by the most is the creation of Lollapalooza.
Believe it or not, it’s now the 27th year of the popular festival, which was originally launched as a farewell tour for Jane’s Addiction. It has definitely evolved over time from a traveling festival to its current 4-day extravaganza in Chicago’s Grant Park, but how has it fared musically?
