Fatboy Slim’s “Weapon of Choice” & 7 Other Great Music Videos Featuring Popular Actors
Christopher Walken celebrates his birthday today (March 31), and even though he has a ton of incredible acting credits to his name, one of our favorites still is his appearance in the Fatboy Slim video for “Weapon of Choice.”
Of course, seeing popular actors in music videos is nothing new. In honor of Walken’s birthday, here are seven other great music videos featuring popular actors
Fatboy Slim – “Weapon Of Choice” (Christopher Walken)
It’s Christopher Walken dancing. WHAT MORE DO YOU NEED?!
Marilyn Manson – “KILL4ME” (Johnny Depp)
WARNING: NSFW. Also, you might need a cigarette after watching this one.
Stone Temple Pilots – “Sour Girl” (Sarah Michelle Gellar)
We presume Gellar is the “Sour Girl” in question, but nonetheless, the energy Buffy has with Scott Weiland leaps off the screen.
Tom Petty – “Mary Jane’s Last Dance” (Kim Basinger)
Despite the incredibly creepy premise, Basinger recently said of the video shoot with Petty, “We laughed so hard. I said, ‘Okay I’m going to go for this’ because the director kept saying, ‘You have to play dead. Completely, all your weight. Everything.’ And it worked [Laughs]. But when I slide down the side of him, I just honestly couldn’t keep it together sometimes. So near the end too, it was very eerie, but it was the fun part.”
Rolling Stones – “Anybody Seen My Baby” (Angelina Jolie)
This video was released in 1997, one year before Jolie’s breakout role in Gia. Just the way she’s filmed walking in the streets of NYC is just jaw-dropping.
Aerosmith – “Jaded” (Mila Kunis)
Alicia Silverstone often gets the most attention when it comes to actors in Aerosmith videos, but never forget about Mila Kunis in “Jaded.” Total babe!
Green Day – “Wake Me Up When September Ends” (Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell)
A beautiful, heartbreaking video from Green Day featuring the outstanding Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell. The two actors would later marry and have a son together, however, their marriage only lasted about a year and a half.
Beastie Boys – “Make Some Noise” (Everyone you can possibly think of)
Who isn’t in this music video?! Here’s just a list of the actors we noticed: Seth Rogen, Danny McBride, Elijah Wood, Rashida Jones, Will Arnett, Ted Dansen, Rainn Wilson, Jason Schwartzman, Amy Poehler, Steve Buscemi, Mary Steenburgen, Maya Rudolph, Kirsten Dunst, Chloë Sevigny, Will Ferrell, David Cross, Orlando Bloom, John C. Reilly, and Jack Black.
