Sambora wanted Bon Jovi to be more of a band, and felt it was more focused on making Jon Bon Jovi a star.
Sambora DID say he enjoyed the recent Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, and it was NOT awkward at all.
Don't a lot of great rock bands have a prominent lead singer who gets more attention than other members (think Kieth & Mick)? And didn't Richie know pretty much from the start that the band was built around Jon?
