Tool Fans Will Have To Wait A Bit Longer For That New Album
Tool finally began studio work on the follow-up to 2006’s 10,000 Days back in March, and while many felt that the new album could be released in 2018, it looks like fans will have to wait a bit longer.
At the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards this week, Maynard James Keenan said the following when he accepted the ceremony’s Icon Award:
“A lot of work’s being done, a lot of work’s been done. I’ll go on the record now and say – you’re gonna see some new music next year.”
While it certainly is nice to hear updates, fans are definitely getting impatient, to say the least. Let’s just hope this meme doesn’t become a reality.
