Motley Crue’s Theatre of Pain was released 33 years ago today (June 21.)
The album was a top 10 hit on the Billboard 200 and featured their killer cover of Brownsville Station’s “Smokin’ in the Boys’ Room,” but the stand-out track, by far, is the power ballad “Home Sweet Home.”
A smash on MTV due to its heavy rotation, “Home Sweet Home” remains an epic sing-a-long and was a setlist mainstay up until the Crue called it a day from touring on New Year’s Eve 2015.
Let’s face it: Aren’t we all dreamers with hearts of gold?
