"PLAY IT, STEVE!"

The great Steve Cropper was part of one of the greatest studio house bands in American contemporary music. It was Steve's licks behind those great recordings by Sam & Dave, Otis Redding, Carla Thomas, Booker T & the MG's, Wilson Pickett and so many more.

A member of both the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, Steve wrote/co-wrote such classics as "(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay," "In the Midnight Hour" and many others.

Currently on tour with Dave Mason, Steve called into "All Mixed Up" on WDHA to chat with Jim Monaghan about his amazing career.

Steve Cropper and Dave Mason will be appearing at the State Theatre in New Brunswick on Wednesday July 18.
