Have a great photo of Tom Petty?  Still have some vintage fan-shot video?  You’ll want to check out the latest request from Petty’s official website.

“We are making a very special music video in honor of Tom Petty and his profound 40year relationship with his fans and we would love for you to help us,” reads the message on TomPetty.com/FanVideo.  “We invite you to share your favorite moment with Tom and the band. A picture you took with Tom, a favorite video moment from a show, or any expression of love for the band that you have photographed and cherished.”

The website is allowing fans to upload files (jpg, png, mp4, mov and jpeg) less than 20MB in size.

This request comes on the heels of the announcement of An American Treasure, a four-disc box set of previously unreleased material including live recordings, alternate takes and songs from various studio sessions that have never seen the light of day.

One of those songs that was never released was “Keep A Little Soul,” whose video features a bunch of archival footage of the late Petty.
