Embedded below is the “Clubhouse version” of “You and Me,” whose original version can be found on the 2002 album with The Heartbreakers The Last DJ. The touching video features a wide variety of photos and video taken by fans from tribute tattoos to footage from Petty’s last tour.
An American Treasure comes out September 28 and features four discs of over 60 tracks of previously unreleased material throughout Petty’s career with The Heartbreakers. The tracks range from live recordings to alternate takes to songs from various studio sessions that have never seen the light of day.
