This is probably the best rendition of the “Classroom Instruments” bit from The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that’s ever been recorded.

Aerosmith was a musical guest on The Tonight Show recently, and while there, they took part in the popular performance bit that finds artists playing one of their biggest hits on a variety of toy instruments.  Obviously, with Aerosmith, that song was “Walk this Way.”

The Roots always sits in on these performances, and which was a nice touch because they offered a nod to Run DMC with the inclusion of some Adidas shell tops that appeared to have been stuff with some sort of maracas to add to the rhythm section.

Oh!  And lest we forget, Joe Perry was playing a ukulele and making it look cool in the process…because he’s Joe F*cking Perry!
