LONDON, ENGLAND - SEPTEMBER 21: (L-R) John Paul Jones, Robert Plant and Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin attend a press conference to announce Led Zeppelin's new live DVD Celebration day at 8 Northumberland Avenue on September 21, 2012 in London, England.

Looks like Led Zeppelin might have more planned in honor of their 50th anniversary than just a cool book.

LedZepNews.com reports a trademark has been filed in the United States and Europe for the phrase “The Led Zeppelin Experience.”   A number of purposes for the trademark filing include “providing non-downloadable prerecorded music on-line via a global computer network,” “Clothing, headgear and footwear” and  “Entertainment services; musical entertainment services; publication of printed matter; production, publication and distribution of audio and visual material.”

The filings also make clear the music in reference is to live recordings as opposed to studio albums, which is leading many to speculate that some sort of live streaming of archived live shows is in the works.

It’s also noted that Jason Bonham, who used to tour under the name “Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience,” now tours under the name “Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening.”  Bonham said in an interview with KSHE 95 in February that he was asked to change the name and said, “I don’t know what they have planned, but I said, ‘Okay, I will clear the way so they can do what they wish.’”

Regardless of what’s in store, it sounds like Zeppelin’s 50th anniversary is going to be even bigger than previously expected.
