Jocko Willink and Leif Babin served as U.S. Navy SEAL officers under some of the most stressful situations imaginable. Their task unit, Naval Special Warfare Task Unit Bruiser, was the most highly-decorated special ops unit of the Iraq War.

Both are Silver Star and Bronze Star recipients and Babin also received a Purple Heart.
