NJ’s Darren Fenster Talks World Series on the Jolt
Darren Fenster has landed in a unique situation.
A graduate of Middletown High School South and Rutgers University here in New Jersey – and a member of the athletic Hall of Fame for each school – he just finished his seventh season as a coach in the Boston Red Sox minor league system.
As a result, he’s worked with a number of players currently on the Boston World Series roster, and has also coached against some of the up-and-coming Yankees like Aaron Judge.
Darren joined Jim Monaghan and John Hodorovych on the Morning Jolt to talk about the development of young players, how a kid who grows up in Yankee Country ends up with the Red Sox, and his Coach Your Kids project.
