QUIZ: Old Band Names of Iconic Rock Bands

Fifty years ago today (October 25), Led Zeppelin performed their first gig under the Led Zeppelin name, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Their previous band name?  The New Yardbirds. Even though pretty much every “new” version of anything is almost always trash (think “New Coke”), it is nice to know that even Zeppelin had to cut their teeth under another name, just like most rock bands.

In honor of this anniversary, we thought we’d have a little fun and created the quiz below.  Each question will feature a band’s previous moniker and four choices as to who that band eventually came to be.  Good luck!
