One of the things we're thankful for every Thanksgiving is all of the awesome Turkey Day-themed episodes of our favorite TV shows, both past and present. Here's a collection of some of our favorites!

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air

Uncle Phil hurts his back so Will takes him to a massage parlor, but it’s actually a “massage parlor,” if you know what we mean. This scene of Uncle Phil and Will in jail is priceless. (“Tiny onions!”)

Cheers

Nothing like a good old-fashioned food fight. Glad no one aimed any food at Ted Danson’s hair!

Friends

Since there was a Thanksgiving episode in every season of Friends, this was a difficult one to pick, but we went with the episode from the series’ fifth season. This episode is full of flashbacks, provides a lot of backstory and reveals the reason that led to Monica’s weight loss.

WKRP In Cincinnati

A Thanksgiving promotion where they drop live turkeys from a helicopter? What could go wrong?

Bob’s Burgers

In time, this episode will surely become a Thanksgiving classic. Bob and Linda’s landlord asks the family to pose as his family to make an ex jealous. Surprise! Wackiness ensues! There are too many details to list, but fortunately, this episode’s on Hulu. Also, it gave birth to this Thanksgiving song!

Seinfeld

Okay…so it’s not a full-fledged Thanksgiving episode, but between Jerry trying to figure out if he was invited to Tim Whatley’s night before Thanksgiving party and the whole Jon Voight’s car fiasco with George, it’s hard to omit this one.

Beavis & Butt-Head Do Thanksgiving

Serious music journalist Kurt Loder plays the straight-man to Beavis and Butt-Head who are supposed to be covering the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. It’s pretty brilliant.

The Brady Bunch

Greg is making a film about the first Thanksgiving for a school project, and the whole family is in it. But guess what? Directing your family is hard! Don’t fret; like with most Brady Bunch episodes, everything works out by the end of the episode.

A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving

An absolute classic! Plus, we think buttered toast, pretzel sticks, popcorn and jellybeans is quite the spread.

Erica Banas is a lover of classic television and wishes tap dancing would make a serious comeback.
