Kevin Winter/Getty ImagesDef Leppard is releasing a new "best-of" collection titled The Story So Far this Friday (November 30), and in conjunction with its release, the band has launched a new web series chronicling the stories behind their biggest hits.
The first episode tackles the story behind perhaps their most popular hit, “Pour Some Sugar On Me” from their iconic album Hysteria. Joe Elliott talks about how the band was deep into recording Hysteria and how he was playing the song’s riff in the studio with Mutt Lange one day and that it was “just this idea that I’ve had knocking around.” Turned out to be a little more than just an idea.
The Story So Far is available for pre-order in multiple formats here.
