There’s been a lot of buzz around the potential film, with Grohl’s mother, Virginia Hanlon Grohl, mentioning the project to the Sydney Morning Herald, and now a Twitter post is lending more fuel to the rumor mill.
Tim Thomas, principal of Annandale High School in Annandale, Vir. posted a photo with Grohl along with the following caption: “Went outside to investigate a film crew on campus only to discover that it was Dave Grohl from @foofighters who went to AHS and whose mother was an English teacher at AHS. What a treat! Go Atoms!!”
Whether it’s a documentary or some sort of biopic is currently unknown. Regardless, fans will eat it up upon release.
