GVF performed two songs: “Black Smoke Rising” from their 2017 EP Black Smoke Rising and “You’re The One” from their 2018 LP Anthem of the Peaceful Army.
The band even managed to pop up during Weekend Update as the punchline to a joke about the upcoming “Super Blood Wolf Moon,” which was pretty funny.
Time will tell whether fans will see GVF in another high-profile television appearance. The band is up for four GRAMMYs, including Best New Artist. There’s a very good chance GVF may perform on “Music’s biggest night,” especially after releasing the statement below announcing the cancelation of their February 8 show in New Zealand "because of commitments at the GRAMMYs," however, this has yet to be officially confirmed.
