Green Day is releasing their very first book, and it'll fit right in on the bookshelf of the child in your life...or your own. (No judgment!)

Last of the American Girls is due out October 29 and will feature illustrations from Frank Caruso, who also did the illustrations for Bruce Springsteen's 2014 children's book Outlaw Pete

Last of the American Girls will be based around the Green Day track of the same name from their 2009 album 21st Century Breakdown. The book, itself, is described as "A rallying cry for all rebel girls." Of course, I'm sure young boys could learn a thing or two from this title.

Last of the American Girls is currently available for pre-order at HarperCollins.com.
