Rush fans will get to enjoy the history of the band's 1977 album A Farewell to Kings through a new graphic novel in partnership with Fantoons.

The Making of Farewell to Kings is due out September 10 and is a fully authorized graphic novel whose story featured input from guitarist Alex Lifeson. Per Rush's official website, this graphic novel is yet another title from Fantoons Rush fans can expect this year in addition to a new Rush coloring book which is set for release in July.

In a statement, Fantoons LA-based creative director David Calcano said, "We worked incredibly hard to create a graphic novel that celebrates the music of RUSH, and the creation of the album of ‘A Farewell to Kings’ as a work of art. We think this book will be something for comics and music fans alike to cherish.”

The Making of Farewell to Kings is available for pre-order atRushBackstage.com. Video and still previews of the graphic novel can be seen below.
