Multiple Deaths in shooting at University of North Carolina
Two people are dead after a shooting on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, according to a report from CNN.
Two other people are being treated for life-threatening injuries, and two more people have non-life threatening injuries, according to the report. Police seem to believe it was a lone shooter, and that the shooter is custody. Charlotte-Mecklenburg police tweeted, “No reason to believe anyone else involved,” they wrote.
Law enforcement officers were sweeping several buildings, the university and police tweeted. “CMPD and UNCC going room by room on campus to identify any students, faculty or others who may be sheltering in place.”
