Welch and his daughter, Jennea, appeared on Huckabee's aptly titled TBN talk show Huckabee to talk about his new documentary Loud Krazy Love, which covers Welch's battle with addiction as well as how his Christian faith helped him with maintaining sobriety.
What some might not know about Huckabee is that he used to play bass in a cover band for nearly two decades. So, what a bassist talk show host do when a metal guitarist appears on his show? Jam, obviously. Below you can see Welch and Huckabee perform an instrumental version of Korn's "Blind." Sure, the volume on the bass track seems to be awfully low, but it's still fun to see these two men from opposite worlds jam.
