Slipknot is joining an ever-growing list of bands releasing their own brand of spirits with the announcement of No. 9 Iowa Whiskey.

Available nationwide beginning August 10 and at all Knotfest Roadshow dates in North America, No. 9 Iowa Whiskey will feature two different labels: The 90 proof standard, which will retail for $39.99, and the 99 proof No. 9 Reserve, which will retail for $69.99.

The Iowa-based band has appropriately partnered with the Iowa-based Cedar Ridge Distillery on this new whiskey line made from Iowa corn grown on the Cedar Ridge family farm.

In a statement on the collaboration, Shawn “Clown” Crahan said, “Slipknot and Cedar Ridge Distillery – two groups of people born and raised in Iowa, and committed to quality and hard work. We collaborated on No. 9 Whiskey, which in addition to Iowa corn, gets some extra spice from its rye content. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Live life, and always be safe.”
