Frances Bean Cobain Shares New Music on Instagram

Frances Bean Cobain hasn't shared any new music videos on her Instagram in a number of months, but the daughter of the late Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love has ended that drought with two video clips of what she calls "a very sad song."

Frances captioned the videos with, "Be forewarned, these are clips of a very sad song but it’s raw and truthful so I wanted to share it...Music coming soonish y’all. Thanks for the continued interest and words of encouragement. I see them all and they make my heart full."

Frances also shared in the caption the lyrics to her performance videos.

"I know you weren’t meant to stay in this place 
Sometimes I find it hard to look at

While she didn't reveal who she's singing about, it difficult not to interpret that the song could be about her father. Regardless, it'll be very interesting to see what all of these videos and songs will turn into in the future.
