There's no stopping the Rolling Stones; earlier this year, Mick Jagger went under the knife in March to replace a faulty heart valve, forcing the band to postpone their North American tour dates. But tonight, they return to the stage for the first of two nights at Chicago's Soldier Field.
Yesterday, the Rolling Stones posted a brief video of Jagger rehearsing, playing guitar on stage to an empty stadium.
Meanwhile, Jagger posted a photo of himself on stage, getting ready for the shows.
The Stones also posted photos of some of the Chicago-specific gear that they'll be selling at the shows.
In other Rolling Stones news, the band just released a new live album today: Bridges To Brennan. Recorded on September 2, 1998 in Brennan, Germany towards the end of the Bridges To Babylon tour, it includes a number of songs from their then-recent album, including "Flip The Switch," "Out Of Control," "Saint Of Me" "Thief In The Night" and "Anybody Seen My Baby," as well as their cover of Bob Dylan's "Like A Rolling Stone" and the deep cut "Memory Motel."
