Taylor tweeted, "I’m gonna say this for the f---ers in the back: JUST BECAUSE YOU DON’T BELIEVE SOMETHING IS REAL, THAT DOESN’T MEAN IT ISN’T REAL. Denying things like the Holocaust. slavery, etc is a travesty to the memory of the survivors and disrespectful to the people who fought for them."
The above tweet followed a series of retweets of stories that have been in the headlines, including a story about a Florida principal who refused to call the Holocaust a "factual, historical event." Another retweeted story included a report from Arizona about a hate crime involving a white man who killed a 17-year-old black male because he was listening to rap music.
Taylor also retweeted a video of a far-right extremist who attempted to set fire to a synagogue only for the fire to blow back into his face along with the caption, "This- right here- is why prejudice, racism and ignorant hate will always just be different ways of saying and meaning F---ING DUMBASS."
