Metallica Announces Children’s ABC Book About Their History

Metallica has now taken on a new challenge: Teaching children their ABCs.

The band recently announced the November 26 release of The ABCs of Metallica, a children's book that both teaches the alphabet and introduces the reader to the history of the iconic metal outfit. (Fingers crossed that "N" is for Napster!)

A portion of the proceeds will go to Metallica's All Within My Hands charity that helps fight hunger and support workforce education. If that's not incentive to buy the book alone, pick up a copy for your favorite toddler metalhead in training or to gift at an upcoming baby shower, because Goodnight Moon is actually quite dull.
